Guess what today is? Its our birthday! We turn 1 today and we wanted to thank you for your support. Thank you for watching, liking, sharing, commenting and being overall awesome. Cheers to year 2 - we will continue to be Orlandos Television Network!
Its time to #SummerAllTheThings with Bess Auer
We have been enjoying some pre summer fun. As we are gearing up to #SummerAllTheThings on June 1st - we have been spending time poolside and on a boat. We interviewed Bess Auer a boat in Isles Worth that also included some amazing drone shots and we filmed the June events for The District poolside in Downtown Orlando.
The summer will be filled with outdoor beach shoots and there are we are more than ok with that!
We are excited about the summer and to show you how much we love this time of year we are going to #SummerAllTheThings. All of your favorite shows will have a brand new look to fit the warm weather. The District will be pool side, MondayVation Talks will be pool side AND on a private boat, Coins will be on the beach - you get it! This will be more fun than a road trip with your old college roommates.
Watercolor is a swim in the metaphysics of life - a mirror of one's own character. Let it be unpredictable and colorful. We spent a few hours with @ArtOfRobb in his home studio. He painted, we talked life and how art and life braid together in a beautiful way - oh and we filmed the entire thing.
The next episode of #PopArt will feature the art and wisdom of Robert Johnson (@ArtOfRobb) here are some behind the scenes images captured by our Creative Dir. Kadeem Stewart @shotby3d. The new episode will air this week.
The foodie community in Orlando is growing by leaps and bounds on a monthly basis. We love being able to introduce our viewers to new places to have a great experience. "Toasted" is a unique spin on grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers. We arrived at 5 am (yeah 5 am) to sit down with Megan and loved every minute.
Not only are the family owned but they also offer great vegetarian options. We are very excited about this episode because grill cheese duh! Here are some behind the scenes shots by our Creative Director Kadeem Stewart + the trailer for the next episode.
We are very excited about our latest show MondaVation Talks hosted by Kelda Senior. Our first shoot day included 2 amazing guests Shante Pressley + Brendan Oconnor. We won't give away too much so you will have to tune in but in the meantime here are some behind the scenes photographs by Stanley Belizaire
As fans began lining up at the gates of the Camping World Stadium to see the All Stars of the NFL this season, they were welcomed by the eloquent words and stories of our poets as they mounted their “Soap Box”.
Photographers, videographers, poets and creatives alike have gathered under the guidance of Walter Phuego – Founder of Studio 17 TV as he leads the creative direction for Soap Box The Pro Bowl Edition, coming soon.
This one time - at PBS!
The beautiful thing about Orlando isn't just the places you can go to have a great meal or a great time. The beautiful thing about "The City Beautiful" are the beautiful faces that populate it. One of our goals as a network is to introduce you to the places and faces that make up our home.
The face we are introducing you today is of Jazmyne Richardson the host of one of our newest series Kudos Food Dose. We won't spoil what the show is about but if you want to know more about her and what she is bringing to Studio 17 Television check out the film below!
Also check out this recap of her last tasting party.
*Warning you will be reading the word "grateful" a record amount of times. You're welcome!"
Being grateful means being content (Not to confuse contentment with settling). Being grateful means being happy for each and every peak and valley that you have encountered up until this point of reflection. I can litter this blog with quotes about being knocked down and getting back up or with stories about people who overcame incredible odds. My question to you is what is your underdog story? I bet your story can be used to litter this blog.
In my opinion the definition being grateful/thankful is saying to yourself " You know what, I have everything I need. I am truly grateful." As a tech nerd + film maker there is an ever growing amazon list of things that I drool over which I am sure will be obsolete the day after I would purchase it because Apple... but outside of those things I am grateful.
We have an amazing support system both personal and professional that we are grateful for. We are grateful for you stopping by just to read this, to watch our content or just to be nosey lol we appreciate it. Take a moment today before you go into a food coma this Thursday and take inventory on what you are grateful for and watch the areas of your life that you feel are lack luster shine bright like a diamond (ok that was cheesy, don't judge me)

"We launched the network accidentially"
Orlando-based pop artist SKIP (of Franchise Industries & The B-Side Artists) stars in new reality television series called, "Skips Big Ideas" The show is currently in production with local online network Studio 17 TVand follows the creation and construction of SKIP’s large, interactive art installations, demonstrating the creative process from initial concept to dramatic, public reveal.
Right now the show is in pre-production and is attempting to maximize the limited window of time before actual production begins in order to gain attention, support and sponsorship, which will ultimately boost production value and result in a greater quality end product. To accomplish this, the show has created a number of sponsorship opportunities and incentives to encourage partnerships with individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations, such as online crowd-funding site, Patreon, (www.patreon.com/skipsbigideas) and more.
"Skips Big Ideas" will be filming the show over the next three months and will begin airing season one this fall (Official release date to be determined). We encourage individuals interested in following the production and making of the show to follow us online/social media at @SkipsBigIdeas on Facebook, Instagram and SnapChat and to attend the reveal of the installations in person at Maker Faire Orlando (October 22 and 23) and Art in Odd Places (November 11th -13th) where they can become extras on the show!
For information on how your organization or business can be a title sponsor for the show, please email us at Skipsbigideas@gmail.com
